Indonesia has ranked among the top tourists destinations across the globe. Indeed, the country has so many things to offer you beyond you can ever imagine. You probably have heard so many good things about Indonesia. Each year, quite a lot of tourists are flocking in Indonesia because taking a vacation in the place isn’t really too expensive.
Now, the best way for you to explore the wonders of Indonesia, especially Bali, is to rent a car. You don’t have to fret though because car rentals in Bali are also relatively cheap. You can already rent a car for a month with only $200. However, if you want to skip the driving and all you want to do is to marvel with the beauty of the place, then you may take a cab and pay the driver with a considerable amount. Here is the list of things that you shouldn’t miss in Indonesia:

Shop down Kuta
When in Indonesia, you shouldn’t lose the opportunity shopping in Kuta. Some people loathe the alley because it is filled with fake stuffs including sunglasses, shirts, DVDs and many others. Well, if you’re someone who’s on a budget trip then Kuta makes a good option for you. Aside from the accessibility to many stalls selling different stuffs, it’s also right here where you can find cheap hotels and accommodation.
Dine in Tuck Shop
Tuck Shop is situated in Seminyak. This is just up north of Kuta. This is where you can find lavish restaurants. Tourists and ex-pats usually raid the place for sumptuous and highly opulent foods. This is also considered one of the trendiest areas in Indonesia. It almost reminded me a bit in this respect to my last trip to Gran Canaria.
Experience the Rock Bar Cocktail
This can be found at the Ayana Resort at the heart of Jimbaran. The Rock Bar is nestled near the shore and it is strategically located up the hills so you can have a majestic view of the ocean while enjoying your drink and great jazz music. Listening to the ocean waves crashing against the sea wall relieves you from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan life. These are just a few things that you can do in Indonesia. There are still a whole lot more that you can do.
This is one of the spots that you can travel cheap in Asia, and although I am a bit fan of the cultural experience you get in Istanbul, Indonesia is a place I really think is highly worthwhile. It is also a place well worth some fun couchsurfing, because their is an active community there. If you are getting there from the US or Europe, I strongly suggest you first look at flights to Bangkok. I find that the airfares to that airport are among the cheapest in the region. From BKK, you can easily get anywhere in SE Asia on one of the discount carriers.
